I’ve been working on a collection of solar cyanotype sundresses that I was inspired to create at our last art retreat in Joshua Tree (desert=sun). Recently, I tried creating a few of the designs with the gel transfer technique I fell in love with last year. It’s interesting how the neutral/black & white color palette changes the look so significantly. Here’s a visual that shows the contrast between the two techniques. Both are done on canvas. The one on the right was recently chosen to be in a juried show in Albuquerque, New Mexico at the Remarque Print Gallery.
