Get outside

I caught a little bit of the Larch Madness this October and was pining to see them in the midst of their golden glory. The North Cascades Highway lived up to its reputation as the place to see them en masse. We felt guilty for getting such a magnificent reward after a short 2.2 mile hike to Blue Lake. As usual, Mother Nature did not disappoint. (Tip: To avoid the crowds, go later in the day or on a weekday.) Oh, and the larch weren't the only soft + fluffy spectacle!
